How do you top-up data?
This is a two-step process. You must first add credit to your account and then select the mobile broadband package you want to top-up with.
Adding Credit:
- Put your modem SIM in a mobile phone (connected to the Vodafone network)
- Buy a Vodafone scratch card and dial *123*14 scratch card number#
- Press Send/OK
Choosing Your Mobile Broadband Package:
- Put your modem SIM in a mobile phone (connected to the Vodafone network)
- Dial the appropriate USSD code to activate a package (e.g., dialing *125*2# gives you 1GB of data)
- Remove the modem SIM from the phone and put it back in the modem
- Plug the modem into your PC/laptop
- Start the Vodafone Mobile Connect Dashboard and click ‘Connect’ to start browsing
How do you check how much data has been used?
You can check how much data you have left by dialing the short code *126# from a mobile phone that has your modem SIM in it. You will receive a system generated message on the mobile phone telling you how much of your data quota is remaining.
