Vodafone Credit Transfer

Vodafone Credit Transfer is a personalised credit transfer, which allows all Vodafone prepaid customers to transfer credit directly from their Vodafone accounts to another Vodafone prepaid customer.

To transfer credit from your phone:

To Transfer Cedis only

• Enter: *116*recipient’s number*credit in new Ghana cedis*password# and send.

For example, to transfer 50GHC to Vodafone number 0208000000, follow the steps below:

*116*0208000000*5*1234# and press OK or yes to send.

To Transfer Cedis & Pesewas

• Enter: *116*recipient’s number*credit in new Ghana cedis*credit in new Ghana pesewa*password# and send.

For example, to transfer 30Gp to Vodafone number 0208000000, follow the steps below:

*116*0208000000*0*30*1234# and press OK or yes to send

• You will receive the following confirmation on your phone: “You have requested to transfer 30Gp to 0208000000. Press 1 to confirm or 2 to cancel”
• By pressing 1, you successfully transfer your credit to the recipient. Pressing 2 cancels the request.

Note:

• 1234 is a default password. To change the default password, enter:

 *117*old pin*new pin* new pin#

• You can transfer a minimum of 20GHp and a maximum of GH¢50

You should always remember to add 020 to the recipient’s mobile number.

Transaction fee is 5Gp.
