Vodafone Credit Transfer

Vodafone Credit Transfer is a personalised credit transfer, which allows all Vodafone prepaid customers to transfer credit directly from their Vodafone accounts to another Vodafone prepaid customer.

To transfer credit from your phone, just:

• Enter: *116*recipient’s number*credit in cedis*password# and send. For example, to transfer 50Gp to Vodafone number 0208000000, follow the steps below: *116*0208000000*5000*1234# and press OK or yes to send. 
• You will receive the following confirmation on your phone: “You have requested a transaction of 50Gp for number 0208000000. Press 1 to confirm. Press 2 to cancel”
• By pressing 1, you successfully transfer your credit to the recipient. Pressing 2 cancels the request.

Note: 1234 is a default password. To change the default password, enter *117*1234*new password*repeat new password# and press ok/yes.

You should always remember to add 020 to the recipient’s mobile number. Transaction fee is 5Gp.
