Check out all the standard services offered by Vodafone:

Voicemail
 

With Vodafone Voicemail service, you never have to miss an important message if you are busy, out of reach or are simply unable to answer your phone.

To Activate:
  • Dial 2020 and follow the voice prompts or
  • Go to phone menu, select call divert and divert “out of reach”, “busy “ or “no reply” to “2020”

To Retrieve Message

  • Dial 2020 and follow the voice prompts.
   
Call Divert
 
Call Divert allows you to forward or divert your incoming calls to your Vodafone voicemail or to another mobile phone or landline when you simply cannot receive the call.

To activate call divert, go to your phone menu and select ‘Call Divert'.

Call Divert service is free of charge and automatically comes with the Vodafone mobile service.
 
   
Call Holding & Waiting Call Holding and Waiting service is a free feature on the Vodafone mobile network, which, when enabled, alerts a Vodafone customer already talking on the phone of other incoming calls.

The customer has the option of putting the current call on hold and receiving the incoming one privately and can later resume the previous call without difficulty. 

To enjoy Vodafone Call Holding and Waiting service, go to your mobile phone menu to activate it. The service can also be deactivated and reactivated whenever you wish, free of charge.

   
Vodafone Call Me Back In case of emergency or when you run out of credit, rely on the Vodafone Call Me Back service to ask friends and families on the Vodafone network to call you back.

To use the service, simply dial *119*recipient’s number# and send.

For example, if you want to send a ‘call me back’ request to Vodafone number 0201111111, simply type: *119*0201111111# and send.

Vodafone in turn sends a ‘call me back’ request through SMS on your behalf to the person you are trying to reach.

This service is absolutely free of charge and only available to Vodafone prepaid customers.

   
Caller Line Identity Presentation (CLIP)
 
With Caller Line Identity Presentation (CLIP), the details of all incoming calls are displayed on your phone screen, so you get to know the identity of callers to help you decide which ones to receive and which to reject.
   
International Direct Dial (IDD)

International Direct Dial (IDD) allows you to make international voice calls to other countries without going through an operator.
 
This service comes as a default for all Vodafone prepaid customers. This means you can always make international calls provided you have enough credit on your phone.

Vodafone postpaid customers need to however request for the IDD service before it is activated for their use.

   
Itemized Billing Vodafone sends all its postpaid customers a monthly itemized bill detailing all transactions plus cost during the period.

The itemized bill captures all Vodafone services used by the customer during the month, including voice, SMS, GPRS etc as well as information on dates and times of calls, numbers called, and call durations.
   
Short Message Service

Short Message Service (SMS) is the transmission of short text messages to and from a mobile phone.

Vodafone customers can send and receive text messages to and from any mobile network within and outside Ghana.

Messages are delivered in real time.
