PREPAID

Before you leave:

1. Do any of the following to check your roaming costs:

• Dial *150# and select any of the zones in which your country of destination falls by entering its prefixed number and sending it.
• Send your country of destination via text message to short code 150.

2. If you haven’t taken your mobile phone abroad before, you may need to make sure your phone isn’t barred from use abroad. Please call 011.

3. If you want to use your voicemail while abroad please activate it before leaving.
 

When you arrive:

• Once you arrive your mobile phone will automatically search for an available local network.
• If this fails to occur, please manually select a Vodafone or partner network* (Please read your mobile phone manual for how to manually select a network to roam on).
• To recharge/top-up while abroad please dial *123*PIN# and send.
• To check your balance while abroad please dial *122# and send.
• To contact the Call Centre while abroad please dial *124*011#.
• To access your voicemail while abroad please dial 00233200202020. (If it is your first time you will be asked for your PIN-please activate before leaving.)
   

USSD SERVICE

1. How to make a call when roaming:-

• If you are dialing a number within the country you are visiting: dial *124* country code: city code: number # e.g. If you are in France, dial *124* 0033 72 869087 #
• Calls to international numbers (i.e. outside the country you are visiting): dial *124* country code: city code: number # e.g. call from France to Ghana, dial *124* 00233 20 2049080 #

2. USSD Call Charges

• Receiving calls whilst roaming – 85Gp per minute
• Making calls whilst roaming – Gh¢1.34Gp per minute

POSTPAID

Before you leave:

1. Please ensure to visit any of retail shops, call your account manager or dial 011 before traveling to activate the roaming service.

2. Do any of the following to check your roaming costs:

• Dial *150# and select any of the zones in which your country of destination falls by entering its prefixed number and sending it.
• Send your country of destination via text message to short code 150.

3. If you want to use your voicemail while abroad please activate it before leaving.

When you arrive:

1. To contact the Call Centre while abroad please dial 00233302211100.
2. To access your voicemail while abroad please dial 00233200202020. (If it is your first time you will be asked for your PIN-please activate before leaving.)
