New Fixed Line Numbers

FAQs on the new fixed line numbering plan being introduced from May 1st 2010.

Fixed telephone numbers are being changed at the request of the Government Regulator, the National Communication Authority (NCA). The NCA intends to implement a new numbering plan for Ghana to conform to international standards and Vodafone Ghana is required to implement this system. To conform to government regulations, we need to standardize our fixed line telephone numbers to 7-digits and apply new area codes.

So you must therefore inform all your contacts about the change to your phone number with effect from 1st May 2010.
