Vodafone Business Solutions is pleased to announce the re-launch of two mobile data services.

The existing Vodafone Bulk SMS Service has been re-positioned with a new and innovative delivery medium. The new Bulk SMS Direct Service provides customers with a user interface accessed via the web. This service enables users to send out bulk SMS messages to a large number of contacts across all networks in Ghana. At the click of a button, customers can send out bulk SMS messages from their own PC and in the convenience of their premises. This contrasts with the operator-assisted service where Vodafone has to send the SMS on customer’s behalf.

The new Bulk SMS Direct comes with a pricing structure that is based on volumes of SMS.
The re-positioned service is targeted at businesses, professional associations, churches, football clubs, airlines and travel companies, to name a few. This innovation means the customer will enjoy instant, reliable, convenient and cost-effective delivery of their messages using Vodafone’s Bulk SMS Direct.

Vodafone Data SIM package is a service that has been in existence for some time and is seeing strong growth due to increased mobile data use. Today the service has been modified to make it even more attractive with new prices and positioning. The Data SIMs are mostly used for Vehicle tracking, Point of Sales and Service terminals, monitoring and managing of mobile or remote devices (example, digital electricity meters). Upon request the service can be provided over a Virtual Private Network (VPN) at no additional cost. Voice and SMS however are not enabled on this.

Among many other benefits that customers will get is the offer of two service plans -- the Monthly Plan and the Per Usage plan.
