World of Difference (WoD)

This global initiative gives ordinary people a unique opportunity to literally make a world of difference to a community or project that they connect with. Currently being run in several Vodafone operations across the world, WoD of difference has impacted thousands of lives across the globe. The Vodafone Ghana foundation launched Ghana’s version of the programme in May 2010. The Vodafone Ghana Foundation and its partners will provide a unique platform for people to impact the world around them.

Once they have identified their area of interest participants, in concert with the relevant charities, will be sponsored by the foundation to provide professional and sustainable support to their charities of choice. The charities and communities benefit from the exchange of skills, knowledge and goodwill between WoD participants and the project partners.

Our motivation is driven by our passion to promote volunteerism, community work, enhance knowledge and skill transfer in community-based programmes.
