Sponsorship Guidelines
Vodafone Ghana is proud of its achievements in the field of sponsorship. Our past projects have included Right to Dream, Night with the Stars and Ghana’s Most Beautiful.
Vodafone regularly receives invitations to participate as a sponsor for a variety of events. Naturally, we expect a return on our investment, therefore we seek to identify and support innovative projects that enable us to achieve our business and brand-building aims and objectives. During 2010/11 we are particularly keen to support music, sport, culture and business enterprise initiatives.
Because of the number of sponsorship inquiries Vodafone receives, we request that all proposals be submitted by email. This allows us to review all proposals in a timely and thorough fashion.
If you would like to submit a proposal or have further questions, please email sponsorship.gh@vodafone.com. We endeavor to respond to emails as quickly as possible, but please be aware that this can take up to 4 weeks.
Please make sure you include the following information in your proposal:
• Name of event/project
• Date(s)
• Synopsis
• Audience reach
• Marketing/Communications plan
• Sponsorship benefits
• Sponsorship amount requested
Feel free to add more information if necessary as this not a complete list, but it is what we require as a minimum.
NB:
1) Vodafone does not sponsor individuals and cannot consider sponsorship requests within less than two months of the occurrence of the event. We prefer to have 2 – 3 months to plan the activity to ensure we can present our involvement as well as possible.
2) Although most sponsorship requests are worthy, we have a set budget and can support only a small portion of the total number received.
Thank you for considering Vodafone to support your project and we look forward to receiving your proposal.
