Kyle Whitehill- Chief Executive Officer
Kyle was educated in Scotland and has a degree in marketing and economics. Kyle has worked in the UK, Central Europe and India for both telecom and consumer goods companies. His early career was spent in fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) with L’Oreal, Jeyes and Guinness before he entered general management with the Soft Drinks division of PepsiCo.
Kyle Whitehill joined Vodafone UK in 2001 as head of the Enterprise business. In February 2008 he moved to Vodafone India as Chief Operating Officer, shortly after the acquisition of the business from Hutchison. During his tenure as Chief Operating Officer, the subscriber base of Vodafone India’s business grew from 47 million to over 100 million.
Kyle Whitehill is a keen golfer and supporter of Glasgow Rangers football club and is married with 3 teenage sons.

Adrian Moss- Chief Financial Officer
Adrian Moss is the Chief Financial Officer for Vodafone Ghana. Adrian brings a wealth of emerging market experience having previously worked for Vodafone for 6 years in Egypt and Turkey. During this time Adrian had senior finance roles with responsibilities for planning, supply chain, commercial support and finance operations.
Adrian has worked for Vodafone since 1998 and during his time in the UK, he spent 4 years in the UK operating company and has also held senior roles in the Regional Finance team that had responsibility for all Vodafone operations in Africa including South Africa and Kenya.
Prior to Vodafone, Adrian worked for British Aerospace for 5 years where he held roles in the internal audit function and Head Office finance function. He is a Chartered Accountant having trained with Finnie & Co in London and holds a degree in Accountancy and Finance.

Patricia Obo-Nai- Chief Technology Officer
Patricia Obo-Nai joins Vodafone Ghana as the new Chief Technology Officer from 1 January 2011. Patricia joins us from TIGO where she gained 14 years experience in Technology and IT.
Since graduating as an electrical engineer from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, and also completing an EMBA programme in Project Management, Patricia has gained extensive technical experience in network planning and strategy as well as varied management and leadership experience.
She progressed to become the only female CTO in the telecommunications industry in Ghana and the first female CTO across the Millicom Group operating in 16 countries.
Among her achievements are; successfully handling the technical part of a major transaction of monetising Millicom’s passive infrastructure valued at millions of dollars, delivered the biggest fibre project in Millicom’s Africa operations of over 950km of fibre and led the expansion of the company’s network from an average of 300 base station to over 1000 in 3 years despite the challenges with network deployment in Ghana.
Patricia enjoys watching movies, actively involved with church activities and relaxing at home with her family.

Uche Ofodile- Chief Marketing Officer
Uche Ofodile is currently the new Chief Marketing Officer of Vodafone Ghana. Until her elevation to this new portfolio, Uche was the Head of Strategy, Brands and Communications. Prior to joining Vodafone Ghana, Uche spent over six years in Nigeria working in various senior leadership roles in the telecommunications industry where she worked for Econet Wireless (now Zain) and MTS First Wireless. She was most recently the media spokesperson and Marketing Director for Nurtricima Ltd where she led product innovation and marketing communication.
Uche has a B.A. in Political Science and recently completed a diploma in Strategic Marketing from Columbia Business School. She has over 15 years of International Marketing experience in global organizations such as, KPMG, Zain and PZ Cussons and is a member of the American Marketing Association. Uche is passionate about sharing the wealth of her experience and her interests include mentoring, public speaking and spending time with her family.

Stella Appiah-Nkansah - Chief Officer, Human Resource Management
Stella Appiah-Nkansah is a renowned Human Resource Practitioner who holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, a Post Graduate Certificate/Diploma in Public Administration as well as an MBA in Human Resource Management.
She has worked with Ghana Telecom for the past 22 years, nine of which has been as Head of HR - handling a diverse workforce of over 3000 employees across Ghana. She is a member of a number of professional bodies in Ghana and abroad. She also serves on a number of committees and has attended numerous international workshops, seminars, training programmes and delivered papers/ facilitated in some of these programmes.

Marc Norris - Commercial Director
Marc Norris is the new Commercial Director of Vodafone Ghana. Before this appointment, he was the Director of Consumer Fixed of the company. Marc joined Vodafone from Finnish-based Oplayo, where he held the role of CEO. He brings over 23 years of consumer based telecom experience working internationally in Australia, Hong Kong, Netherlands, France, UK, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria and Finland for the likes of Telecom NZ, One.Tel & BT.
Marc and his wife had their first child in April 2010.

Irene Asare- Head of Business Transformation
Irene joined Vodafone Ghana in April 2010 from the UK where she relocated with her husband and three boys.
As Head of Business Transformation for Vodafone Ghana, Irene’s key responsibilities include executing on the delivery of the business critical programmes. Focusing on improving the company’s cash management and efficient spend.
She is also responsible for business reengineering and process improvement.
Irene holds M.A. in Human Resource Management from Kingston University London and is a full member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD) UK. She has over 15 years of International Business transformation and Human Resource experience in global organizations such as, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Serco, Cleanaway and Network Rail.
Irene is enjoying returning home to Ghana and discovering the country that she originates from.

Ashley Ratcliffe- Head of Corporate Integrity & Risk
Ashley joined Vodafone Ghana on 1 October 2010, as the Head of Corporate Integrity and Risk.
Originally from Australia, Ashley brings with him years of experience, most recently leading the corporate security team at Vodafone Ireland. He recently received a Vodafone ‘Hero’ Award for his accomplishments in leading the Vodafone Ireland Corporate Security Team in reducing fraud risks within the business.
He is responsible for the strategic coordination and implementation of all proactive and reactive activities to the protection of Vodafone Ghana’s reputation, revenues, staff and assets. He also ensures that Vodafone Ghana has a robust and fit for purpose counter corruption and risk management approach in line with our corporate objectives.
In his spare time, Ashley enjoys surfing, weight lifting and photography. He comes to Ghana with his wife Marion and two daughters, Holly and Jodie.
He is very excited about his move to Ghana and joining the Vodafone Team.

Patrick Boateng- Head of External Affairs
Patrick Boateng has joined us as the new Head of External Affairs. Patrick started with Vodafone Ghana on 1 December 2010 and will head up legal, regulatory, government affairs and the Vodafone Foundation.
Originally from Tema, Patrick has a wealth of experience in the telecoms sector, both in Ghana and the US. He joins us from the International Bureau of the US telecoms regulator FCC, where he was responsible for relations between the US and Africa. Previously, Patrick worked under Prof. John Atta Mills at the Internal Revenue Service. He was also an advisor in the Ministry of Communications and spent time as the Director of Operations for Deloitte.
Patrick will have responsibility for managing the external environment, in which we operate, influencing policy makers and decision takers to ensure our business can reach its commercial and social objectives. Patrick will manage our important relationship with the Government of Ghana as shareholder, stakeholder and customer, and our relationship with the National Communications Authority and other regulatory agencies.
Patrick has relocated with his family from Washington DC.

Derek Appiah- Head of Vodafone Business Solutions
Derek joins us from MTN Nigeria where he defined and created an enterprise ICT business worth over $300m pa as the Chief Enterprise Solutions Officer, part of the Executive Management Committee.
Prior to joining MTN, Derek was a freelance consultant whose clients included Etisalat, BT, Irish telecoms regulatory authority and the Japanese government. He also spent 18 years with British Telecommunications plc (BT) in various management roles.
As well as an MBA from Imperial College (UK), Derek is also a Chartered Engineer and member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) in the UK and has a BSc degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He enjoys playing tennis and listening to smooth jazz and is married with two children.
With his vast amount of experience and dedication, Derek wants to make Vodafone the number one for enterprise in Ghana.

Lucy Quist - Managing Director, Vodafone Wholesale, and Head of Strategy and Planning
Lucy Quist is the Managing Director of Vodafone Wholesale, a subsidiary of Vodafone Ghana, and the Head of Strategy and Planning. Lucy joined us in September 2011 from Tigo where she spent three years, first as Head of Business Development for Tigo’s Africa operations and more recently as the Chief Marketing Officer in the Democratic Republic of Congo. In her role as CMO, Lucy spearheaded double digit revenue growth and transitioned the company into leadership in mobile data.
Lucy is a Chartered Electrical and Electronic Engineer and spent her early career in the automotive industry, developing audio products for Ford, Jaguar and General Motors. She has also worked in investment banking, managing system integration projects for the Royal Bank of Scotland (UK).
Lucy holds an MBA from INSEAD (France). She enjoys traveling and exploring different cultures, and is married with two young sons.
